I have noticed that when I am in a normal cs:s spawn/buy area, I can hear the respawn sound even when the players are respawning elsewhere in the map (custom spawns). Not a big deal, just kinda strange to hear a respawn right next to you and there's no one there.

I think that's because when you die, you are brought to your spawn and weapons/armor/ammo are purchased, then immediately teleported to your spawn spot. I've noticed it too, and it took me a while to catch on; I always would think I was about to see someone right in front of me lol. If that is the case, then I doubt that there's any way to change that. Unless he implements a function similar to mani's giveweapon stuff (I think it's mani). Not sure though. Besides, it works.
