All I do is:
1) take a pic of google
2) open paint.net and open the pic
3) save the pic as tga
4) open vtfedit
5) import the pic
6) save it as vtf
7) gg

u can make btf or whatever starts on bmp or whatever it was, saw it on paint or maybe it was tga

also just to say it short

u can open any jpg image with vtfedit and save it as vtf file....... so. yeah, no need for opening paint and save as TGA for no reason.

take a pic from google, run it in vtfedit save as vtf, and done.

Not really. The trail wont appear in game, so you have to make the image .tga first.

u can actually just use a free photoshop and edit the jpg picture really. >_>

and yeah that works when u convert it back to vtf again and put it on hte servre. this is how cheap people did like ADMIN - blabla clan on their skins etc. or the server name on some skins.
