Hook SayText with register_message is really better, fysiks, there is a plugin like this (method i'm talking about) in new submission forum.
Also, :

register_message(sayText, "avoid_duplicated")

Block this doesn't only block chat messages.

I didn't write that plugin. In fact, I don't like it's code. I just edited one that I edited before (which he requested via PM).
