Except for those of us who have played since the early beta's prior to the whoring of the game by Valve. I ain't giving them no $10.

Come to think of it...my version of HL was packaged in a friends Joystick box. He couldn't play it, so he gave it to me for free. So I've never given Valve a dime of my hard earned cash.

CSPro Mod? Direct TV is using Source, because Valve didn't want to license 1.6 for TV. If Pro Mod comes out it is not going to be Valve's game and it will be allowed to be on TV and it will be better than source and that means every top team goes Pro Mod

CS:Source blows the big one... I want my money back, although DoD:Source is pretty fun, if you haven't tried it, you should... Its not addicting, just some good old fun instead of crying over CS:S... *cries*

So from what I've gathered ... for the past four months you've been spending all of your free time drinking alcohol?

RaD-Pimp: you're wrong on two accounts... DirecTV using Source had nothing to do with Valve and everything to do with graphics. It "looks better" over TV broadcast, and that's it.

And ProMod HAS taken forever and it IS easy to write. CS is a very, very simple game aside from possibly player movement and maybe the netcode feel (and only slightly difficult because of the engine at hand). The only thing they have to show for years of work is a few maps. If the project was being done right, they would have written all the code using the CS:S media from the start, and then had a viable product that was backwards compatible. You can build the media from there, quickly.

ProMod lost its chance by not being ready for DirecTV in time. Now, the most it can probably do is temporarily divide the CS:Source community.
