Hey klikk, and cannot give you an answer. Have you ever read the logs or does it create an error log for the players? Check this please first

Okay, i checked error_log and this is one LR error only and I do not know if this is related to this problem. thx for reply btw

unfortunately I also had the problem, in another forum there was a plugin for this, use it myself and then no longer had these problems

you would only need to upload the smx and the translation

* Fixed a bug where the nickname was not fixed after changing the map;
* added new variable pnf_default (Default: "Unnamed") . The default name when the name is empty after clearing;
* removed "sm_" before all variables;
* Plugin rewritten and optimized. Now it works as it should!

Not sure why someone still did not make a plugin like that for l4d2, it will need a lot of changes as it is more based on round win/lose than kills and will have to take in count ragequitters if they don't reconnect for 5 min for example but it can be done with the help of various plugins (readyup, left4dhooks, ect). I will personally donate for that.
