I have the version that strips out the votemenu enabled and I commented out the delay parameter.. and they still don't work.

The server is TF2, and yes, I can use the pause command via the console, but after reading around the forums, I have found out that when the server is paused, all server timers shut off. So I don't think I can use the pause command as originally intended. I can achieve what I want to do with the "sm_freeze" command, if I could find a way to delay the default return command of "sm_cvar spec_freeze_time 4". I have searched the forums high and low and I cannot find any form of delay command either built into SM or any plugin designed to delay commands. I did read "Timers.inc", but looks more for writer, not users.

What I need, and would be a handy command for SM:
Code:
sm_cvar spec_freeze_time 60
sm_freeze @all 60
sm_delay (Time in Seconds) sm_cvar spec_freeze_time 4

it seems if you have more then 7 options the 8-0 options are blanked out... 0-0?

could some one fix this small issue?

@badwolf: If I remember from a different topic you said you were running simple chat colors? If so create an override for those vote commands.

@Cuz: Yea I have no idea how to achieve it. When you used the wait command before...was your value for sv_allow_wait_command set to 1?

@war450: 8 is left blank because when you get to second page it uses 8 to go back to previous page.

With me being an admin, should I have to be typing /cvote or !cvote infront of everything to put my vote in?

Edit:

Also... adding the overrides works for commands like 'votecrits'.. but it doesn't for commands that have parameters, like 'voteban bob'. How do I get it working for those?

@nadrojcote: Only thing I can think of you trying next is to try it without any other plugins loaded but the core and see if it is working. If so enable others 1 by 1 until it breaks and then you know where conflict is.

@badwolf: I would ask Antithasys about overrides. I am not positive on how his code works for that. As for being an admin, you can use /cvote or you can type in the chat trigger. Reason you may be having an issue is if you have admins specified to have a different color for their text. This could cause a problem with how custom votes sees the string of text and cause it not to work for them. I don't know if there is a way around that. Once again I would check with Antithasys.

Out of luck with the overrides for parameter triggers right now using simple chat colors.. Antithasys is working on an update to allow parameters... in the meantime, I have changed my advertisements to encourage base trigger usage and use the menu when it comes up.
