Hi all out there,
I just wanted to ask if anyone may code me a custom rank system as follows:

I basically want to use the scoreboard to display the ranks without any "rank" spam and stuff.
To do this i thought about the following:
Player's kills are kept even when he disconnects and are written into a file and when the user reconnects he has his kills/deaths loaded fron the file again
i know that the display of the number of kills in the scoreboard is limited so I thought about using the ping as an additional identifier, let me explain it using an exampke

every player starts with a ping of 0 (i don't care of the pings of the players anyway)
now the player kills other players, still keeping his "0-ping"
when he reaches 999 kills, the kills are reset to 0 upon the next kill he does and the ping is increased by 1

would anyone make this?

personally i would prefer a transition from mani rank or amx (but i do not know how they had it).
at the moment i use statsmeminimum which is fine, altough i do not like how i presents the rank, but it works.

Personally, I use HLStatsx and love it. I'm not sure what you are requesting is even possible, as it would entail modifying the client end of things. I'm not sure how easy it is to modify that at all..

Mani based his stats algorithms heavily on hlstatsx, however it was stored in a flatfile which if it becomes too large, it will slow down the server.

The scoreboard modification is almost impossible without some "weird" issues going on, though the "rollover" style may work where ping is modified (I know that can be changed) and the frags/kills/deaths can be modified, but displaying the rank :-/. there's some things that can be done, but honestly, it's not much.

Storing player kills/cash/deaths/etc. is possible, though like with stats, this should be pruned once in a while if it's stored in a flat file.

omg i dont want any rank ^^
i just want to have the kills and deaths and the ping kept and use the ping in the way i described ^^

TBH I think he really just wants a port of JGHG's Remember the frags..

i would like to see a sourcemod ranking system down the road.
i can't use hlstatsx, so i relay on psychostats (which is fine) and minimumstats from metamod.
the presentation from mani was somewhat nicer though.
