What linux virtualization is good for cs 1.6 server?
I see a site where types cs 1.6 server will work only on KVM, it's true ?
On OpenVZ with Debian hlds will work ?

I'm running my test server on Fedora (I can't remember the version, something kind of old). I've heard people say they like CentOS which is based on RHEL (just similar to Fedora). I've also heard Debian recommended often.

I run three CS server on CentOS 5.7 on XenServer. No lag, No unstable FPS, work fine.

for "No lag" you must have good net connection (speed + good routing), others will be fine on any linux with processor like xeon. ie: debian, centos, etc.

I Recommend : CentOS 6.2 & uBuntu 11.10 With AMD Processor

What is funny is that you will probably get just about all of them recommended to you. So, you should probably just use what you know already.
