Me and my friends were playing in our pub counterstrike server the other day, when we decided to play freeze tag. We had a general idea of what we wanted to do but none of us are very good coders, I've tried to make the plugin but I screwed up somewhere along the way so we would like someone else to please try to make it.

It's basically this :

• No weapons, only knives
• Every has godmode so no one dies
• One person - Terrorist Side is 'IT'
• The other team - Counter-Terrorist side is running away from 'IT'
• 'IT' only has to slash the person once to freeze them
• CT side only has to slash their frozen friends once and/or twice to stop them
• If 'IT' successfully freezes everyone in less than 5 minutes they win
• The person who is 'IT' changes randomly each round or, the last person who was unfrozen becomes 'IT' ( whichever is easier )

If anyone could do this I would be eternally grateful! We had so much fun playing this and would really like a mod to make everything easier.

sounds fun as long as IT can have maybe a speed boost with a cool down, such as in soccer jam, so thats it's not impossible for him.
and instead of 5 minutes, maybe like 1:20 per person on the other team, or something decided by a cvar.
if it's made i would like to have some1 to play with because i dont have many friends on cs.. only like 5 and they dont play much.
maybe you could talk to me on msn and we could play?

nice idea. Also if you get "frozen" by the IT player it looks like you actually get frozen like in frost nades.It would also make it easier to know who is frozen and who isnt.

EDIT: I am going to take a stab at this one, unless someone else with more experience would like to....

I'm editing it, in fact ... I just finish the new version, fix a lot of bug, and add few things


100hp damage and you get freeze
you got a red/blue fade when you get hurt (depending on your team)
you got a red/blue glowing sprite around you when you're frozen
you can look at teammates too unfreeze them, deploy a beam when you look at a frozen teammate
works fine, got a lot of bug trying to fix fews but now I got all working fine, I will release my editing version in a couple of days
