Avalanche, I'm just wondering how you actually found out that this could be done. Are there some other flags that can be appended in other instances? Can this flag be used elsewhere?

I looked at the Gauss fire event hook code in the client dll, after Twilight Suzuka suggested looking into the Gauss. I could tell you the file and line number if my regular PC was working.

Yes, see nihilanth.cpp from HLSDK singleplayer dll for examples.

Expanding on XxAvalanchexX topic:
0x1000 is the attachment index

In CS:
0x1000 is the right hand
0x2000 is the left hand

Also note, in the HLSDK examples it's mainly used with TE_ELIGHT message.
