Steam CMD

Hey guys! I am trying to update my CS:S servers with SteamCMD and I cannot figure out the directory. I have the steamcmd.exe in each of my server folders ex. C:/Surf/steamcmd.exe. When I load the steamcmd.exe I type in 'login anonymous' then 'force_install_dir C:/Surf/' then 'app_update 232330' then 'quit'. I restart my server and it still says the server needs to be update. can anyone tell me why?

I think you got lost somewhere between the Valve Developer Wiki and the Source Servers section

Your first issue is that you shouldn't be installing the server into the same dir as steamcmd. You could put steamcmd in a folder named "steamcmd" for example, the make a folder named surf and force_install_dir to surf.

I did that and yet, it still does not work. Anything else I did wrong?
