Hello,

i would like to get the SteamID for a player when he is opening a website in the steamoverlay.
I found the SteamWorks API providing the method "GET https://api.steampowered.com/ISteamUserAuth/AuthenticateUserTicket/v1/" which should return the SteamID. But the parameter i have to send with it are key, appid and ticket. Does anyone know where i can get the ticket from? Or is there another method which might be easier?

Thanks but i already have an API key. The link should look like this:
api.steampowered.com/ISteamUserAuth/AuthenticateUserTicket/v1/?key=myapikey&appid=730&ticket=???
The ticket is the parameter i need to get somehow.
