Hello! Recently, a boss concept I casually posted on a server was approved by the staff, which means that I'm now obliged to make it myself so I can submit it and possibly have it added. The problem is that there's this one ability that I'll need to make myself due to its complexity, and I have very little experience making sm files.
To summarize, the conceptual ability is like the Speed Booster from the Metroid series, and you can toggle whether or not it can be used with M2. It gradually increases your speed through continuous forward movement, and when the speed is maxed out, you can press and release crouch to perform an air dash.
I'm throwing this out there in case any seasoned users know ways to hook this up. For now, I'll be using my free time to fumble through the code for my own solutions.
