My question is how read a line in the console (server) ?

I explain:

I have read this thread http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=73183 which talk about how detect server update.

Im very interrested on this idea and I want to make the plugin.

So the problem is if I send a console command: hearbeat, how read the line it display if an update is present: "Server out of date bla bla"

Any help ?
