Having HLSW showing the player count you want to see is easy. Put "sv_visiblemaxplayers xx" into the server.cfg. This is only cosmetic and can also be used to fake the visible max player count. Be aware that the maxplayers count in steamgroup browser only goes up to 8/8. If you want to see e.g. 16/16 you must use l4dtoolz, a metamod plugin and either disable downtown by setting its cvar to "-1" or simply donīt use it @cvars in your cfg: You do not need to write cvars twice, itīs ok if you simply write "sm_cvar cvarname value" as 1 line, not needed as an additional entry without the "sm_cvar".

I already thanked ya in the SRS thread, but great job on figuring out and updating the bosses unprohibit for no mercy and sacrifice.

Figured it out. I placed this in the server.cfg and I am able to connect. 8 players on each side! very nice!

l4d_maxplayers -1.000000

Just updated to 0.5.2.0.

Changes:
  • New Forward: L4D_OnGetMissionVSBossSpawning()
  • New Natives for various Director Countdown/Interval Timers
    • Mob Spawn Timer
    • SI Spawn/Death Timers
    • Versus Auto-Start Timer
    • Versus Update Markers Timer

Plugin writers: Check out the new Timer Natives! I'm sure you can find some creative things to do with them.

crash the server with left4downtown.ext.2.l4d2.dll, as soon as it tidy, then the server is started normally. What to do?

For the future do tell which platform this was on. I presumed windows and fixed one byte in the Signature, get the gamedata from the first post.
