everything works fine - commands, etc! thanks for this great plugin and all the nirc addons

i tried to disable - say, teamsay, show joint part, but the bot started dieing with quit msg (Ping timeout: 488 seconds)

if i dont do lot of changes to nirc_config everything works like charm

How to use add_irc function? While trying to use arguments with this function, I keep getting this error: Error: Number of arguments does not match definition

I do it like this

add_irc("PRIVMSG $chan : Helloo %s", argument);

but what is the way to do that?

Okay, I've got a question..
My bot just got disconnected from the IRC server.
I've got five servers, all of them joins different channels:
#chan.serv1
#chan.serv2
#chan.serv3
#chan.serv4
#chan.serv5

All of them are on different hosts. But suddenly, my second server, that is, bot from my second server just got timed out.

°14:53:15° • Quit • Server2Beotel ( [email protected] ) • Msg (Ping timeout)

This happened a couple of times. I could easily add a cvar that will reconnect to the IRC, but i just wanted to check here if there is any way to prevent this from happening. Or if it happens, to allow it to reconnect to irc automatically.

Both times this happened, my server was still online and respoding to everything, but bot gets timed out.

Well this is an old thread and old plugin but I'd like to inquire about a modification.

Is it possible you add or modify the "public" or "team say" to allow for triggered chat sends

I DON'T want to see ALL chat from my server; just want clients send to my IRC channel via a command or prefix; example

"@irc Hey can we get an admin in here?"

will send to my irc however

"Hey can we get an admin in here?"

will not

Mine doesnt even give me a message when type @say, doesnt say "no access!"
but it doesnt say anything in server either..

*IF* that one connects, it works but when it *does* connect, it crashes my server after about 3 minutes. then doesnt reconnect.

I had same problem first, remove other plugins what uses irc, like cheateporter, and did you use old version?
