First you are wrong, doesn't matter if the server is steam or no steam, the error is from the client... client have to use steam to do query_client_cvar() work.

But appart of that, your argument have no sense...

1. "i dont work for valve sorry ;)". Yeah, you have to work too much to have 10 dolars for buy steam (and for host a server you don't need nothing).

you dont understand us. Problem is not 10 - 20 -50 bla bla dolars or money ! problem is valve ! it doesnt do good in owner workings ! allways exploits - atacks - bad srcds and hlds versions(lots cpu lots unneed bandwidth)...If they want to fix somethings, they can do.But they dont do any project for good hlds - srcds. Why ? I say you: Because they are busy with earn lots of money ! sorry my bad english.

Well, now i understand the point but i am not with you. Steam is best than no-steam, i don't think that use a lot of more cpu and bandwitch (if yes, i think the difference is trivial). About fixes, yeah have some things that can be fixed, but no-steam have more bugs than steam, cuz no-steam is the same as steam but cracked, and with older versions.

you go ahead to defence valve. There are lots things learn for you.

shit valve uses 2001 gcc compile ) you go ahead men pay money to valve, they dont do anything for players and servers ... Year is 2010, we use Xeon - i7 - Quad series cpu in our server systems. I think, valve still uses pentium 3 or pentium 2 cpu in their company

So? Like i said, no-steam is the same in this aspect.

The company provide you a game, if you like how the game work, perfect... if not, you should steal? (no-steam), that have no sense. The problem is if is something necesary but we are talking about a simple GAME, is not necesary for your life.

Oh and yes, i know about the problem of the cpu usage by the game, i don't have to learn about the problems that the game have, i know is not perfect and can be better, but that doesn't mean that you have to steal.
