there is a version of this plugin which does not use the plugin "Basic Donator Interface"?

I can not Basic Donator Interface work here

Yea... Id much rather have this without the basic donator interface and the mysql, and just have it hook anyone with the admin flag "B".

Would be much simpler.

Due to how the plugins interact, it would require a rather big modification of this plugin.

The BDI does not require SQL, you can use a flat file.

Thanks for the edit. Would it be possible to recognize donators via admin groups instead of an admin flag?

My donators are all in the same sourcebans group but with no flag/permission.

There seems to be an crash issue that affects this plugin.

If you have your download filter set to "none" or "maps only" (Options -> Multiplayer -> Downloads = Maps Only), then looking at a sprite you haven't yet downloaded will cause you to instantly crash to the desktop. This is unlike looking in the direction of other missing materials which don't show up (overlays) or show up as black/purple checkerboard (textures).

And someone else made a HL2DM bug report to Valve here back in December:

Make sure if you're trying to reproduce the crash that you clean out your downloaded materials first.

Hello I asked before I could necro this and was told I could so please don't yell at me.

I have attached a very important fix for this plugin on the off chance anyone still uses it! I've changed the CreateSprite stock to save the entity reference to an array rather than the entity index and the killSprite stock to reference the entity rather than pick an entity index at random. Preventing a problem where the plugin could randomly delete game essential entities and break maps in weird ways as referenced in assorted posts in the thread.
