THIS IS AWESOME! BUT:

I need extreme help...

seems that the plug-in isn't reading the settings from my configuration file...

What should I do? I read the data in the console... there are the same values no matter what I do.

I tried with a lot of different configuration file settings, the plugin doesn't make use of them. It's like it's set to use some default values.

What can I do to make it work?

(not on topic, but maybe someone can answer me: how can I reload server.cfg automatically when teams swap (i.e. survivors become infected) ? )

have you looked at the config file located in cfg/sourcemod? you should be modifying that.

Using a key-value file would help

Yes, that's the one I've been talking about.

I tried disabling all other plugins, but to no avail. The plugin simply doesn't read the values from the configuration file- it uses some default values, no matter how I alter the configuration file.

This plugin is great- please tell me what could be wrong... should I change the values in the source code and recompile it?

You could do it that way, but it's worked for me and others, for a while in l4d1. Maybe try restarting the game server.

I've dedicated an entire day to trying to fix this issue. Restarted the server dozens of times, disabled all the plugins... nothing

Could you please upload an archive with the exact files you're using (plugin and configuration file and anything else that may accompany this plugin)?

Here is what I had on my l4d1 server before I moved to l4d2.

Are you checking your logs for any errors?
