Hello after recent csgo update my server crashed and said "MasterRequestRestart
Your server needs to be restarted in order to receive the latest update."

I stopped the server run the steamcmd and updated it. But guess what! It still says

"MasterRequestRestart
Your server needs to be restarted in order to receive the latest update."

I tried restarting it a few times but its still not working.
I tried to update it with app_update 740 and app_update 740 validate. And server is still not working.
I even restarted the vps, but still no effect.

How to fix it?

Delete the steamapps folder inside the server, then force an update again so that it downloads everything correctly.

With me I do this and solves the problem.

I deleted the steamapps folder from directory with srcds_run and other csgo files and logged into steamcmd typedd app_update 740 and app_validate 740 and still not working. Btw now there is no steamapps folder even after "update"

And still "MasterRequestRestart
Your server needs to be restarted in order to receive the latest update.
"

Did you forget to set the path first?

force_install_dir /my/server/csgo
app_update 740
