LOL. Not even close. I run IE6 . It's good that it pops up, it warns of possible bad things. But annoying when the webpage has no reason to use ssl (imo). I think Firefox doesn't show an "active" warning which is quite disturbing. You might never know what you are using is unsecure.

Ok, no more on this. I will deal with it.

fysiks: It's quite horrifying to think that there are people who willingly use IE6, knowing that later versions supplanted it - don't hold the web back!

1) SSL prevents sniffing of the URL you are trying to visit, as well as the content, thus evading network monitoring (save for the hostname).
2) People might want to log into the forums securely (I certainly do!)
3) Your browser warning is from third party content. Well, we can't control that user images and such aren't SSL. So why is the browser warning about this, and why can't it remember your choice? If this functionality bothers you, blame your browser, not us.
