I dont seem to be able to use the /n (new line) function. The server displays it as if it was no different to anything else i wrote.

Hey how do I install this? I just put advertisements.smx in the plugins folder. And then the advertisements.txt in configs. Where do I put the cvars?

You can put the cvars into server.cfg or sourcemod.cfg

hi there , im a noob to server stuff so need a hand with this hehe......

ive put the advertisements.smx in the sourcemod plugins folder

ive put the advertisments.txt in the sourcemod configs folder

and copied and pasted the following into my server config:

sm_advertisements_enabled (0/1, def 1)
sm_advertisements_file (def "advertisements.txt")
sm_advertisements_interval (def 30)
sm_advertisements_reload

is there any reason why this isnt working on my server.?

game : l4d2

hi there, ive got this working now, but can only use light green for "s" messages.....

"t" messages dont work

any one know wat other colours work in l4d2.?

ive tried cyan, blue, light blue, violet , red , i cant get any of these to work.?

update: read another 40 pages and found valve dont support other colours in "S"

yea i could can't any colors adverts working with this plugin, it would be nice to have it.

T messages don't work in L4D or L4D2. It's a limitation of the game, not the plugin.

For S messages, all the colors noted as supported in S messages work in L4D2 (with the exception that {GREEN} is yellow).
