Just been trying this out on my L4D2 server.

I'm unsure if it's an issue with L4D2 or the plugin, but maps 1, 2 and 4 of Dead Centre will only spawn a max of 3 special infected. I had it set to 4 on my server. I tried increasing to 5 or 6 to see what would happen, but no luck. Setting it to 2 caused a decrease down to 2.

I should note this was while playing as infected in co-op mode. It seemed to work fine in Versus mode.

Also, there appeared to be a bit of an issue with the tank. The game told my other half that I was becoming the tank, but because I was dead, I spawned as another SI and she became the tank. After she'd lost 75% health, it suddenly decided that I was the tank and forced her to go and spawn as an SI. The control meter had NOT ran out at this point.

Khaine, same problem here. I cant go to more than 4 infecteds (l4d2).

Is director spawning on or off?

The L4D2 tank system is more screwed up than the L4D one. There were times (without the plugin installed) where I was supposed to take over the tank in Versus but I got it much much later after the AI tank died (it did not spawn another tank either).

Director spawning is off.

Also, it -just- decided we couldn't spawn at all on Dark Carnival 3. 3 specials were spawning (myself, my partner, 1 bot). The bot was spawning, but we were stuck on 30 seconds to spawn (which is the default spawn time, which I left alone).

We could only have 2 specials on DaC1 as well, while maps 2 and 3 have allowed us to have 3 specials thus far.

Have a problem with 1.8.6.

When playing single player coop, on the infected side, I had to switch to the survivor side and take over a bot, so i could activate an alarm switch since they do not do that themselves. Once I switched, and took control of a bot, I made infected sounds, the bots were shooting at me and then the game just crashed. I cannot express any more details for that is all that happened. Im not sure what the problem is, any ideas?

download l4d2 survivor AI trigger fix so you don't have to switch everytime

What were your infected bots cvars at the time?

How did you switch to survivors?
