Sometimes I create a listen server (CS:S) and play with my friends on LAN. I installed metamod so we can have fun with all those plugins.

The problem is that when I try to join an internet game, steam says "you are in insecure mode".

How can I turn on secure mode while still keeping metamod?

I tried to add -secure to the steam shortcut, but it doesn't work.

You can't, you'll need to install the dedicated server.
