Hello, I've been using the latest version of sourcemod on my linux based Team Fortress 2 servers for over a year now. Everything has been working fine (excluding the occasional temporary issues) until about 2-4 months ago.

During this time I have been annoyed with a glitch that intermittently affects clients. 1 hour of gameplay generally results in at least one instant in which a client experiences a looping respawn timer. The in-game respawn timer will hit 0 then just start another count down from the top. I am not using any plugin that manipulates respawn time. It will continue to loop infinitely until the client selects their class again. This glitch does not occur when sourcemod is not installed. Sourcemod is up to date and is running with no additional plugins. Metamod is also installed, of course.

Any advice or investigation into this issue would be greatly appreciated!

CONFIRMED FIX, thanks again Hardcor3!

Either replace rcon_lock.smx with this build: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showpos...&postcount=448

Or just remove the plugin completely to fix the intermittent looping respawn glitch!
