There are a few sites with different alias of metamod(http://www.sourcemm.net/, http://metamod.org/, and http://metamod-p.sourceforge.net/). Each of them give different files seemingly, one gives one .dll file, the other gives a whole directory of files(you dont need all the files, only the ones you need, but still there is files inside other folders), and the last containing what looks to be a stipped down/simplified version of the first .dll and looking around google they all have different installation methods... the question is which method will get me the latest version of metamod with best performance/structure(no need to have 20 to 30 extra files there if they will never be used).

Server for L4D1~Will be running Sourcemod~Will be running rotoblin2 configs

metamod = for Half Life games (those old HL1 games)
metamod source = Half Life Source

just download MM:S 1.10.0 (choose right Operation System) zip file.
extract addons folder in your ...left4dead/ destination.
And better use Source Dedicated Server via SteamCMD,
and not that what comes from Steam/Tools section. What uses your game files.

Thanks for clarifying. Is the MM:S 'p' version good for anything? Will it have any kind of performance improvements or anything?(if you know)

There is no MM:S 'p' version, the links you posted above are for Metamod:Source, Metamod, and Metamod-P respectively, the latter 2 being for goldsrc.
