Vamos a crear un model sencillo con el kHED ( para principiantes es mas facil)

Fase1: Crear el model
Abrimos el kHED, clic derechos en los distintos recuadros (las vistas) y ponemos como en el screen.
Spoiler
A la derecha tenemos las herramientas, seleccionamos Box Tool, en la vista left hacemos un rectángulo similar al de la screen

Hacemos clic y mantenemos, hacemos como si fuera el VHE el rectangulo, soltamos y vemos que si movemos el raton, en las otras vista ves como aparece el ancho, lo ajustas como la screen mas o menos

Si no esta el rectangulo seleccionado, pulsamos 4 para la herramienta de selección de grupos y lo seleccionamos, pulsamos Q (Move tool) y a la derecha en el cuadro de herramientas nos aparecerá las propiedades del la herramienta. Tildamos clone y movemos el objeto, aparecerá otro, repetimos la acción 3 veces mas, fijándonos en la vista top que queden de la siguiente manera:

Creamos en la vista top un cuadrado (con la Box Tool claro está) sobre las patas de nuestra silla, fijándonos en las demás vistas, si nos queda movida, Move tool y la ajustamos, para ajustar el tamaño pulsamos E o seleccionamos Escale Tool

Creamos 2 rectángulos mas desde la vista front

Otro rectángulo mas en la vista front en el medio de los 2 y arriba y ya tenemos la silla hecha

En la barra de herramientas superior seleccionamos Materials

Le damos a new y nos aparece Material1, si queremos renombramos el material con Rename y le damos al boton con 3 puntos para buscar nuestro .bmp, que será WoodPlatesOld0028_1_S.bmp
Volvemos a crear otro material y ponemos el .bmp PlanksOld0154_1_S.bmp
Aviso Importante: Los .bmp han de estar en la misma carpeta donde vas a crear el .mdl y han de ser .bmp de 8 bits, como estos
Con la herramienta Select Groups seleccionamos el respaldo de la silla y pulsamos Assign (la paleta)

En la vista en 3D verás como aparece la textura (la vista se mueve como en el VHE)

Seleccionamos la estructura
(puedes seleccionar un solido, pulsar Shift y seleccionar otro solido y seleccionas los 2 a la vez, sino uno a uno) y aplicamos la otra textura y comprobamos el resultado

Fase3: Compilar el model
Esto es, pasar del formato .khe del kHED al .mdl
Necesitamos el GUI StudioMDL para ello: http://www.mapping-zone.net/foro/sho...?p=369#post369
Lo instalamos donde queramos, despue de instalarlo, nos vamos a su carpeta y copiamos studiomdl.exe

Y lo pegamos en la del kHED

Abrimos nuestro model con el kHED y vamos a archivo, exportar, half-life model

Le damos el nombre que queramos (silla en mi caso) y le damos a guardar

Se abrira una consola y compilara el model

Y ya tenemos nuestro model en .mdl, ahora podemos ver como queda con el Model Viewer

se que no tiene q ver con modelos pero de casualidad sabes mapear??

es que e intentado empesar a hacer un mapa pero no me compila ni un simple cuadro con 2 spawn points :S

Si, se mapear, primero, usas demasiadas wads y 2º tienes un leak ( un agujero en el mapa o una entidad fuera del mapa)

Tip: No compiles con el VHE usa el: Batch Compiler

OFF: No hay spoilers para poner bien las imagenes

Primero [TUT]
despues a capostrike
Fijate que es muy comun... Pone los Snap on Grid en 1 y fijate que los spawns no toquen el piso
