Hoping someone here has any ideas about my problem. I already sent in a support ticket into wolfservers and yet have a response. 10 hours ago.
In the addons/sourcemod/scripting/compile.exe and the spcomp.exe files could not upload. Its just keeps retrying in my smartFTP program. And I tried to use internet explore FTP and keep getting errors uploading telling me to make sure I have permission to put files on the server. Everything else uploaded fine. Just those 2 files cant get uploaded. They all ready told me that they don't block any of the file types included with those mods. Any suggestions? Also I am guessing that these two files are needed to have the mod run properly, because when I join our server or using HLSW and type in console sm_admin I get unknown command. Goes with the same meta list or sm_version Here is my source: http://wiki.alliedmods.net/Installing_SourceMod

I always forget to delete those 2 files on a fresh install and I get the same thing and Ive never had a problem running SM.

They arent needed to run SM on your server.

hmmmm.... then where did I go wrong installing? I uploaded to Left4Dead/addons and /CFG just merged it all in. Did the same for our TF2 server. Is there something I need to add to my server.cfg ?

Those two files aren't needed for SM to run. They're only needed if you want to compile plugins.

Hello,
I just wondering about no problems posted in this thread.
Because we have a Problem on our Machines to run this SM Version.
Code:
failed to load plugin addons\sourcemod/bin/sourcemod_mm (/lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by /blablablubb/sourcemod_mm_i486.so)).
The problem is quiet easy the new sourcemod needs glibc 2.4 or higher but our servers have only
Code:
babe1781:~# dpkg -l | grep libc6
ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries
ii libc6-dev 2.3.6.ds1-13etch8 GNU C Library: Development Libraries and Hea
ii libc6-dev-i386 2.3.6.ds1-13etch8 GNU C Library: 32bit development libraries f
ii libc6-i386 2.3.6.ds1-13etch8 GNU C Library: 32bit shared libraries for AM
This is the last version we can get. An apt-get upgrade does not help. Google tells me that a newer version is only available to "sid" or "lenny" but not for the stable "etch" version of Linux debian 4.0.
i think many many hosters will have this problem because all their systems are based on debian 4.0 etch.
Yeah i know we can switch to the unstable version "sid" but thats no way...
What can we do?

best regards,
