Ok, I've been having trouble understanding wad files. Certain maps have wad files in them. I figured if I put the wad file in cstrike when I install maps, it'll be downloaded when connecting to the map. But it isn't. Keeps on coming up "Fatal Error, couldn't open up wad file". I have to manually put the wad file in my steam in order for it to load up. Is there another way of doing this? Because if people join the server and they don't have the wad file, I'm assuming it'll kick them because they dont have the wad file during map load. Am I missing something? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Search for .res files, also resgen for a mass quantity of them.
