But I have a question, what does pre caching do?
I use this plug in for sound files and I have them to precache but I am not sure if that is right, or when to and when not to.

The server must precache the files he wants to use.
Models or Sounds must be precached in your game to use it.
I dont know exactly wich files must be precached or not.
But I'm pretty sure Models are one of them.

Only the mdl file must be precached.
You should place all other files to normal files (dont precache).
I have made an example file. Here

Ok Swat, hope you can help me out here. I got your plugin to download everything for me except the .vtx, .phy, .vvd files. Everything else it downloaded and put in place. But its the actual weapon models that i'm not getting to download.

The bolded files are the ones not downloading. I tried putting them in //model files, //Any, //Decal Files and still no luck. Any ideas?

This should work.

Have you put these files on the server?
Are these files on your local computer, because then, these files are not downloaded.

Otherwise, please reply and I will give you a plugin that logs the download function.

Yes the files are on the server, cause I downloaded the others from the server. I was confused as well since the others downloaded.

And no the files are not on the local machine.

Do you have that download logger available? Cause I deleted the two script files and it re-downloaded them but still nothing for the models.

At the moment I have no time sorry.
But on wendsday I will code the logger plugin.
