Made for TF2 but should work for any game

    What this plugin does:
It removes all func_nobuild brushes on the map.
You still cannot build in respawn rooms due to a different brush, but without it you could not change class without dying.

    Commands/Cvars
    sm_buildanywhere_enabled (default: 1) - Enables the plugin
sm_buildanywhere_repetitions (default: 100) - The maximum amount of brushes removed

sm_buildanywhere_refresh - Immediately removes all nobuild brushes

    Installation:
    Drag and Drop
    Attached Files
File Type: sp Get Plugin or Get Source (BuildAnywhere.sp - 886 views - 1.8 KB)

Able to edit the plugin to make it so that only some players have this ability?
    e.g.
    sm_buildanywhere "name"

Currently, I have no idea how to do this as the plugin changes the map, not any players, I can try, but I would have to re-write the plugin.

Should work now, try running sm_buildanywhere_refresh
You wont be able to place any buildings in respawn rooms due to a different brush being used.
