Maybe it's just a problem with writing to that specific directory, one possible reason is that the folder has wrong permissions (chmod).
Did you check the logs?

Hi, I've been trying to get this to work on my server but I am having a hard time figuring it out. I installed the main plugin and I am using the desktop client with the steam modul. I believe I have the configs set up, but when I try to connect with the Call Admin client I get "XML Error: XML_Error_Mismatched_Element. I go into settings and I have my url to call admin directory pointing to http://****.site.nfoservers.com and my private access key is the same one I set up in the config file. Am I missing something?

There must be a more descriptive message than that.
You have 2 choices

1. Open up the url manually (eg. http://yourdomain.com/calladmin/noti...yfromcalladmin)
   1. Also check this and this, we have documented this
2. Send me a private message with all the data you put inside your windows client settings panel

If the first method cannot be read properly, try to show the source of the document (CTRL +U on most browsers).

I am having issues with this plugin pack.

I am using calladmin.smx, calladmin_steam.smx, and calladmin_usermanager.smx.

I have sm_calladmin_admin set to the appropriate admin flag in admin_overrides.cfg.

My calladmin_steam_groupidlist.cfg is empty because I do not use Admin Groups.

My calladmin_steam_steamidlist.cfg is full of Admins (STEAM_0:X:XXXXXX separated by new lines).

My plugin.calladmin.cfg has sm_calladmin_admin_action "0".

My plugin.calladmin_steam.cfg contains the correct login and password for an account without Steam Guard that has a videogame purchase (so it can send messages, add friends, etc.).

When I use sm_calladmin_steam_method "0" I get the following error in my calladmin.log:

[CallAdmin: Steam module] Failed to send message, result was: (1, 0)

When I use sm_calladmin_steam_method "1", I see the account come online briefly, but it does not send any messages. No calladmin.log is generated when I am using this method.

Any help in figuring out why the messages are not being sent would be appreciated. I am not using the mysql module for this plugin pack.

The error message means that there was a problem during login, you can see all the possible values here.
Unfortunately there are many possible reasons for this, and little to no information to find out why.
You can try to use the web api method and see if it gives you more/other information on the next few calls.
Maybe popoklopsi has a better idea, i'm sure he'll respond in a bit.
