I have the same problem, this is what I wrote in kreedz.cfg
/ / SQL Config
surf_sql_host "top15pro15.web44.net"
surf_sql_user "I put my user name here"
surf_sql_pass "prokreedz_db" this is my pw
surf_sql_db "top15"
surf_sql_files "top15pro15.web44.net/motd"
surf_sql_name "New Vercion"

and it's the same error: Unable to connect to MySQL.
is more if you enter the website you will see sql that says the same = (

and I have another problem, when I put the plugin with the "# define USE_SQL" starts off the plugin

000Webhost do not allow Remote MYSQL access, so you will have to use another web host.

The host doesn't support remote connection either.
So you have to use a local mysql service or a paid web-hosting.
If you want to use local, just use xampp or other merged pack like it.
