Im running Ubuntu Server 12.04 and my server tells me that it's out of date and that I need update it (Trust me bro I've been doing counter-strike server's since I were 12, I know how to setup these thing's.). It ran fine on Ubuntu Server 10.10, but I've noticed some bug with the wget command on the 12.04, there's also a bug with java but it only happens when I configure static ip, it seems to be related to broadcast parmeter. Than the real question Is this due to hardware or software, my server's run on one of Intel's newest Xeon prossesor's (E3-1270). I think that it's due to the software (HLDS update tool or just the counter-strike server's) and that it doesn't support the new CPU's but again Im not femiliar with how they communicate with each other.
