At that point i just closes. Now if I remove metamod completely, the server starts up loads the first map and has no further issues.

Any suggestions? And does anyone know what is with the addonlist.txt?

Just realized my issue is with L4D server, but if anyone can help out with this as well, it's appreciated. Haven't tried the L4D2 server as of yet. :\
same problem here with addonlist, works fine without sm/mm
any fix on the way?

Hmmm. It seems my problem is a little different than what I had thought. I removed metamod and SourceMod completely and it STILL won't start. :\ I'm getting this:

Quote:
#Console initialized.
Looking up breakpad interfaces from steamclient
Calling BreakpadMiniDumpSystemInit
./srcds_run: line 336: 1259 Segmentation fault (core dumped) $HL_CMD
cat: hlds.1255.pid: No such file or directory
email debug.log to [email protected]
And I took a look at the debug.log file. There is nothing in it at all. Any ideas?

I have a windows server. I was running 20VS, now it's impossible because L4Dtoolz crash here even if there are just 6 players in versus.

I'm running SM 1.3.4 - 3002 and MM 1.8.3 628 without any crash since 10 hours ago. But there is a issue about kick a player http://forums.alliedmods.net/showpos...3&postcount=72 and maybe you can crash your server if you kick a player by admin menu.

Another issue is "sm_cvar mp_gamemode versus" suppose force versus, but 4/8 say full. Just type in console map c8m1_apartment versus and solve the problem. Force Change Mission for hold versus mod.

I would like to know, if there is a snaphot for windows that solve this issue, and how do I get +8vs without crash.

Thank you guys.

My l4d2 server has been down since the update. Can't even get it online even after removing both sm and mm.

That sounds like the server hasn't completed its update correctly. Try running the update again. Both of my L4D2 servers are running MM/SM and are working fine since the update. It's only my L4D server that has had to have MM/SM disabled to get it running.

Execute the command for update again and add -verify_all in the line. Delete metamod.vdf and see if it will start.

Um, how do we execute the update command? my server was rented and the server provider is always the one doing the updating.

I had the same the same thing on one of my 4 servers last night. Update it again. I updated 2 of my servers 3 times and the other two 2 times. The all run at the moment. But one of my servers took me 6 hours of wrestling to get back up. It told me the update was complete and ftp showed the files there it was corupted.
