You are probably right.

I never really do big C++ projects so I donīt know. Mostly my programming is for embedded systems anyhow. The small programs I do for computer interfacing happen with Code::Blocks. For embedded programming I use AVR Studio. Not the best UI, but full of handy tools for its cause.

Also Dev-CPP is a load of crap, after using it a year and then switching to Code::Blocks. The ident system on Dev-CPP makes it just horrible to use.

Amen. I started programming with Dev-CPP and then moved to C::B. The funny thing is, they both use MinGW by default on Windows, but there are some programs that only work when compiled on C::B. I really don't wanna know how this can be possible.

I like Dev-C++. It's simple and clean. Although, I do agree that larger projects should be done on other IDEs.

I hate Dev-C++, the indentation makes my eyes bleed.
