I use both plugins (l4downtown/l4dtoolz) for patching slots. It works fine linux/win.

could you please quote your server.cfg regarding player slots
so all that is needed for it to display and work properly

Yep. I use this version of l4downtown, latest l4dtoolz and the following convars.

so do you use super versus to take care of (bots spawning / how many survivors / infected / spectators allowed)

No, I dont use it. Uhm.. it's a dynamic number of survivors/infected, since people may play different modes. If they play 3v3 so you know how many spectators can be.

Can anyone point me towards the latest L4D1 left4downtown repo? The thread title says it's 0.4.6, but at https://bitbucket.org/downtown1/left4downtown/ I'm seeing 0.3.2.0. I promised some people to implement a proper no m2 function for L4D1, since what server admins are using now is really bad and works in a gamble style. However, I need to be sure I'm forking the latest version.

P.S. Might as well add L4D2's single tank control(everyone gets a chance to play the tank) and rock selector thing, if people like this! Share your opinions.

I have the latest l4downtown version which includes many new stuffs (including forwards you need). Also I have ported many competitive plugins from l4d2 (including those you've mentioned above) so you needn't to waste your time doing the same things. We plan to include them into the following Rotoblin 2 versions after a time, that ppl can use it. We still have not released these plugins since they required latest l4downtown that it is not finished (Not support windows - signature scanning/some code changes required). Do you want to continue/finish it?

Throw it in. Make sure to add the latest Linux and Windows server binaries in the package so I won't be wasting time looking for them. Normally I don't support Windows out of principle, but knowing that tickrate enabler has issues with Linux, I will make an exception for L4D1.
