Hello again. First of all, I want to apologize for the lack of update. Had some personal stuff I need to take care and look after with how covid-19 is still around. Anyway, to summarize from what I did during my last test and playthrough to as of this posting now:-
  1. Fresh installation of L4D2. No mods. Completed multiple full campaigns with no crashes.
  2. Installed mods one by one and tested them in game. Able to finish chapters and as the amount of mods increased, began to play and test in full campaign. Able to finish multiple campaigns. No crashes.
  3. Installed sourcemod and metamod only without any plugins. Mods present and enabled. Able to play and finish multiple campaigns. No crashes.

Until as of today, where I began to download and test the plugins I've been using one by one. A crash happened with apparently the same vphysics.dll error as vaguely stated by minidump reader. User Dragokas informed me to install Accelerator, which I apologize as I completely forgot to do so before I play and test the game today until when I come back to this thread and saw your post once again. I installed Accelerator though I'm not sure if I did it right. Either way, after I installed Accelerator, I played the game one more time in hopes of testing Accelerator itself and trying to reproduce how the crash happened but this time, the game didn't crash at all so I have no "data" to share as of now.

But if it does help, here's some details:

What happened was, I was testing these plugins in The Last Stand campaign. Everything went smoothly until I got to the Junkyard. The game immediately crashed when I was switching weapon from SMG to Autoshotgun. As I mentioned above, I didn't install Accelerator as of yet when this happened. I gave another playthrough in the same campaign after I installed Accelerator and with the same plugins, though it didn't crash in this 2nd playthrough. Was able to finish the campaign.

The only thing I can assume that's causing this crash is the Auto Grab Laser Sight plugin, I guess. But all and all, the crash that happened this time really did helped me clear out a few other "theories" and assumptions that I have on a couple of mods and plugins that I assumed were the culprit behind these crashes.

In the end, I guess there's nothing much that can be done with these vague information. Just would like to post an update regarding this issue. For the next few days, I will play and test the game until another crash happens with the same plugins and mods used. I do hope I installed Accelerator correctly so that it manages to log the error.

Hello, a little update. I successfully completed multiple campaigns without any crashes as of this posting. I also added a few more plugins and encountered no issues. Still feeling the Auto Grab lasersight plugin was what caused the crash issue I faced but I am not fully certain of course. There are still a few more plugins that I haven't add yet so I will post again another time with news. Accelerator is also verified installed and as far as the logs go for both Accelerator and Sourcemod itself, they're clean for now.

The plugins that were added:
Code:
  18 "[L4D2] F-18 Airstrike" (1.7) by SilverShot
  19 "L4D2 Gun Control" (1.1.3) by AtomicStryker
  20 "L4D2 Keep Lasers" (1.3) by dcx2 (assist: Mr. Zero) - 2020 by SilverShot

I've tested all of the plugins I've been using in exception of the Auto Grab lasersight one and so far I am no longer facing any crashes. Sourcemod and accelerator logs are clean too. I've also deleted and changed some plugins to better ones I found.

Perhaps the Auto Grab lasersight plugin was what causes the crash. Thanks everyone for helping me out and pointing me what to do. Its been a great help and I really appreciate it. For now I will continue to play the game and if there's any further issues, I'll report back here!

This plugin is from 2011, that time SDKHooks wasn't native in SM, so maybe you are getting issues because of it.

Btw there are other laser plugins in the forum that may fit your needs (Seem you are using Keep Laser sights already)

Could be. And yes, using a different laser sight plugin now.

There's been a few series of crash since the past 2 weeks but they don't happen regularly as the one I had before. According to accelerator logs, there's 3 crashes of KERNELBASE.dll!RaiseException + 0x62 and one client.dll + 0x33016f

Anyone knows what these crashes pointing out to in general? If the details report by Accelerator is needed, I'll provide it.
