Well, im giving up on the idea. Even if we can make it visible, it would be a pain to make a model like that because it would have to be prepared for every animation and frame.

Not necessarily. We could do something similar to my medikit plugin. Fix the model and rig it as the backpack which is attached to all cs 1.6 skeletons and will work with anims.

Sorry for bumping the thread, but can you show me how you did the medikit thing? It could be really useful for the mod I'm working on, and I sure got the time to do modelling, just in case.

And I guess having a backpack model isn't that bad afterall.

The cl_bob isn't a big issue at all.
You can make a far away giant v_model (attachment or submodel like Tyrant sugested) and then the bumping effect of "cl_bob" would be unnoticable. PERIOD!
