Hi!

I have just installed a promodserver but i can't get metamod to work with it. The info you normally edit into the gameinfo.txt file to get metamod running doesn't work. When you enter it the server starts upp with CSS game.dll and the server doesn't work at all.

So does anyon out there have a solution to how i install metamod and after that sourcemod in CS promod?

/Thanks in advance!

Metamod works fine on CS Pro Mod like any other Half-Life 2 mod.

SourceMod does not, see here: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=62097

Ok, thanks for the reply!

I can't realy understand why they have chosen to do this though. Don't they understand that without a good and working public fanbase they will loose a whole lot of players and interest in the mod.

No, I think you're wrong about that. It doesn't work, I'm runnung a CSPromod 1.04 Server on my computer. When someone connects to it, he can play for almost 10 minutes then the server freezes and crashes. I'm not using any mods like Basic Admin Tool or SourceMod only Metamod Source. When I disable metamod it stays online indefinitely.

If you are running sm1.3, try a 1.3.1 snapshot.

BAILOPEN,

I didn't know anyone else was interested on this subject... I was playing around with this the other night trying to put together a ghetto dm for csp.

Sourcemod worked fine for me.. to an extent. I couldn't for the life of me get respawning to work at all.. and i got menu's working but wasn't able to "give items" to the players..

so like i said "ghetto" deathmatch, via sv_cheats 1, blocked commands like noclip/god, then on spawn/connect the client would auto execute "impulse 101" to get all weapons, and i was able to cleanup dropped weapons fine... But the respawning i just could'nt get to work...

droogie: Please post a new thread in the Scripting forum - this topic is completely unrelated. I'll take a look from there. Thanks!
