Yeah same here. I havent had a proper freeze crash for around 18 days or so which is brilliant considering the previous few months prior to that, it happened between every 3 - 10 days or so.

Lets hope that this continues. It seems that valve have maybe changed something at their end which is no longer effecting the connected servers, at least for the time being anyway.

I've been busy past couple weeks, but for a point I was actually finding these crashes on a regular basis (2-3 days max). Since the update, I haven't had any crashes either. So far so good? *knock on wood*

3 in a row today, went 2 weeks with no crash and now I'm being hit left and right. This is the weirdest thing I've seen.

So its still knocking about then it seems. Its 3 weeks since i had a proper freeze crash now.

Ive never had 3 in one day prior to that though i must say.

Aloha guys. We are running a 40 slot 24/7 map DM CS:S server and we are getting random crashes. I tried to find a way of opening the mdmp files but so far nothing.

I have been reading through this thread and although i have no idea if our crash is related i would like you guys to check our dumps if its possible.

One of them points to the server.dll and another points to the engine.dll and the rest point to the steamclient.dll

I dont think it is the same freeze crash as the TF2 one we are having.

I also run CSS Servers and have never seen this freeze crash on them

The TF2 Freeze crash basically does at is says as regards the server console literally freezes with no more activity and often without the memory error box. It seems to have stopped doing it for the last couple of weeks though.

it happens much less to us now on all of our other servers, but still occurs on our Arena server probably every day.

I have this same problem with CS:S on my zm server. Sometimes it will randomly freeze and not crash for virtually no reason. It generates no dump file when I close it out and the only link between the freezes is that the last entry in the console.log for mani is that a player was kicked for high ping. However it is important to note that players are kicked for high ping all the time...

Had another Freeze Crash tonight with no mdmp created. Thats the first one for about 4 weeks but nevertheless, the freeze crash sadly does still exist.
