That was in 0.8. As you suggested I have installed .9 beta and I will let you know how that goes. One thing I noticed is that I set sm_team_balance_maintain_size to 1 in sm_teambalance.cfg and I was randomly checking that value in hlsw and it came back as 0. Can you make sure that the config is getting executed right?

I really don't control the execution of configs. Keep in mind, when you load your plugin your configs are not reloaded. I believe that configs are loaded on server restarts and map changes in most mods.

That is Sourcemod problem, I have a bug report submitted. It should not hurt the balancer but it will stop long-term kdr from being updated properly.

I just did a server restart and then checked sm_team_balance_maintain_size and its 0

I think I accounted for all those cases. In the cases where they are not allowed to switch I simply stop them from switching, I don't let them switch and then put them back. They just get a message telling them they cannot switch.

No, it will rebalance to bring even or at most off by one.

EDIT: It does this at the end of the round. Join control is coming in 1.0.
