Note: This plugin doesn't work anymore on orange box games (CS:S, Hl2M, TF2, ...),
but it should still work on all EP1 Games (a few Source-Mods still are EP1).


Description:

Gives the players the ability to add friends to to their steam friend list without having to ask/look for the players friends name. This allows any @targets to be used like a player name, @me, or admins can also use the second parameter to specify for who to add the friend(s).

Note: You can only invite someone to your friendslist, he still has to click on the "accept" link to actually complete the process.

Commands:

sm_addfriend target [<target>] - When a player executes it, it allows him to add any friends specified in the first parameter target (nickname, userids, @targets)
When an admin executes it he can also use the second parameter, that specifies for which players to add the friend(s) into the steam friends list for.

Atm there is no way to join groups with the steam browser protocoll.

Wow, I can't believe Valve would allow that ... I feel sorry for anyone on a server with a vindictive admin that would do /addfriend @ALL @ALL :/

It wasn't the intention from me that the second parameter should get abused by bad admins.
As player you just type !addfriend playername, to add someone you want to have in your friends list. But as admin you can also add yourself to someones list if he doesn't know how to add you.
I'm not sure if I'll leave this plugin as it is in the current state.

having add people to a group would be excellent! I would welcome a feature such as inviting all to a group too.
