I have to agree with you there.

The government controls everything.

They say that they are for the people, but yet they run everything and have a say on whether or not it happens.

Majority rules with minority rights.

And dictatorship refers to one ruler over an entire country... not the fact they a greater portion feels one way about an issue, so the other 49% feel cheated... thats they way things go...

Class of 10 kids, 6 kids wanna go to sea world, 4 wanna go to disney land... what do you suggest? that they take 2 seperate trips? no... The other half should accept and support the majority and hope for something better to happen in the coming election... All of this is to show an example, not that this is the way every single situtation should go...

PEOPLE in the government VOTE on laws to be passed that will HELP the society as long as they FOLLOW MAJORITY VOTE. Then their are the ELECTIONS in which the PEOPLE VOTE for represenitives in the govt. And we are not talking about Hitler saying slaughter jews or anything like that... A law is past saying petty theft is not allowed, you have the freedom to do it still, but you will pay the price... And come on now, if our govt. was such a horrible dictatorship, do you think it would have been supported for so long? And bush saying that he will make a law for gay marriage illegal, yea that was dumb to say to the public, but I support his decision...
