Today's update has prevented players in Karts from suiciding. Perhaps re-enabling that ability could be an optional feature of this plugin?

umm yeah having he ability to suicide to remove it on their own was a good thing to have...why did they remove that?

Once you realized that you were falling off the platform, you could suicide to become a ghost much closer to the track, removing the time it took to fly back to the platform.

You can also farm ghost respawns for the achievement by suiciding.

You can probably get sound if you precache them:

SV_StartSound: )weapons/bumper_car_jump_land.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: )weapons/bumper_car_speed_boost_start.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: )weapons/bumper_car_speed_boost_start.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: )weapons/bumper_car_speed_boost_stop.wav not precached (0)

Weird. I didn't hear em. Could be because I loaded the plugin directly using the console instead of restarting the map or whatever.

  • Added kartify_boost_recharge_time cvar
  • Added kartify_start_percentage cvar
  • Added kartify_forced_percentage cvar

Awesome. Thanks for this plugin. I was also going to code it myself, but yours is much better. Is there a way to enable Weapons on players trigger that players take damage? Im thinking of a Onboard-Minigun-Kart Gamemode.

You won't die, you instantly switch teams and you walk away when you were last standing.
