I installed backpack hook and installed timer addon but i still dont know what will the backpackhook do.

i still dont know if the addon is working correctly or not i typed sm reload customtimer.smx and it reloaded successfully then that means its working but i dont know when the timer ETA show up

The timer shows up after a gift has been picked up by someone. The gift appears exactly when the timer hits 0, so it's not even an ETA anymore.

The Backpack hook is the only way the server knows a client has picked up a Halloween Gift.

timer puases when players are less than 10, its setup time, or round ends. can you add that in, after those are done it resumes,

Do we know if it pauses during setup time, player count < 10, round-end, or if the 5 minute present timer completely resets?

Present will not spawn during setup. It waits about 20 seconds then it spawns.

Updates:

 -When 10s are left it plays announcer_attention
 -When it reaches 3 it starts the count down announcement
 -Shows message when player count drops less than 10

cvar to turn off the sounds please? I'd rather not go in and edit the sp every time you update.

Fox, you dont seem to respond to me on friends ever so. If it saves you any time, heres what I did. (Have not tested it)

PS: Forgive me, I renamed it to presenttimer for myself. : /
