For anyone using gameservers I had to do this to load the new metamod.

It seems I'm getting the same problem. I've tried to install by both gameinfo.txt and metamod.vdf, but it just causes my server to crash on startup. Any solutions?

I have install sourcemod 1.3.7 and metamod source 1.8.6 in all games and no problem now

I've tried installing Metamod 1.8.6 and Sourcemod 1.3.7 on a Linux server, but Metamod isn't loading.

Per this thread, I've checked the path in my VDF and it appears correctly.

I had both MM and SM working - I tried upgrading and when that didn't work, I deleted all the files and directories and tried to start from scratch.

Removing Sourcemod and just running Metamod isn't working either - no matter what I try, Metamod isn't loading. After I restart the server, I type in the Linux terminal / console on the server:

meta version
Unknown command "meta"

Any pointers or other things to try to get Metamod to load?

ps: im Secure about fails at intallation, im sure, its sourcemm. cuz zblock is working like a charm
obs: running at windows 7 home edition x64, no error logs, the server just freezes at "game.dll load for counter-strike source", i tryed to intall it alot of times. -18/04/11

metamod is working fine, but as soon as i install sourcemod the server won't start up anymore. with sourcemod installed, i see "starting dedicated server" and then the server closes without any message.
