My wife got a beta key and we played last night. My opinion is it's game play is almost identical to CS:S with updated graphics, and a few new weapons and features. Overall, I wasn't greatly impressed by the gameplay, but I am a die-hard 1.6 player, so that may have something to do with my opinion. Anybody else have a chance to play yet?

Also, if anybody has an extra beta key so I don't have to embarrassedly use my wifes account to play, it would be much appreciated lol

Pretty much, that's how I felt the game was.
It was nice though, never been much of either a CS:S or CoD player though.

I've been playing mw2 for a long time but i'm really disappointed in mw3.
I wonder if it even is a new game since it still have the same bugs as mw2
like when you shoot a sniper & hold your button to throw a throwing knife,
the screen goes up & to the right like mw2.

EDIT: To me mw3 just seems like a very expensive map & skin pack.

well if CS:GO is anything like source, i definitely won't go for it. i'm a die hard cs1.6 guy myself, never taken a much liking to source.. :\

I would assume the people who are more likely to have CS:GO beta keys would be people who already play CS:S.

Because The Off-Topic board is in the AMX Mod X section of the forums, you're very unlikely to get responses here from anyone who deals with CS:S on a regular basis; they're over in the SourceMod section which doesn't have an off-topic board... those topic are moved here.

Actually she doesn't play source either really. I don't really care who comments on this, so that is why it is in off topic. Just sharing my opinion with any who care to hear it.
