I don't know what's confogl and why would the stats not work with it. If you have some errors that you could show me, I can tell you if there's anything to be done to it.

Thanks for your reply, confogl is a sourcemod plugin which creates a "match mode" - http://code.google.com/p/confogl/

I dont know if there any errors or not (not sure where I would see/find them!) - all I do know is once confogl is activated (via !match or !forcematch) - the stats plugin seems to be unloaded // is not listed under the sourcemod running plugins anymore.

I'm going to try and change a few things with confogl itself, see if that gets me anywhere ;)

Fixed!

You simply need to add l4d_stats.smx to the confogl_plugins.cfg file after the unload all line

What does it mean when player names do not show in teh online players list? It shows the user online and how many minutes etc but player name does not show. Also, I wiped my database via phpmyadmin. when I did a re-install of stats db using the install.php it gave me a lot of "duplicate entry" lines... how can this be if the db has been wiped?

Not sure why your player names do not show. It has got to have something to do with your DB?

The "duplicate entry" message is a remnant from the old way of installing and updating stats database. We now have on combined script which does both, clean installation and updating. I have not cleaned the script, so it does give you those messages during clean installation and probably when updating an older DB. I would not worry about those messages. In your case however, it can be that something could have gone wrong, because of the problem you are having. With the information in hand, I can't say what the problem is, so you'll have to mine some more data for me to handle.

I found that if I delete the following file: L4D2_directory_name\bin\stats.bin I get a new hash and I show in the stats and online with a name. Does the stats plugin add some sort of info into this file making it not work properly after a stats wipe?
