It seems that the benefits outweigh the downfalls of reinstalling, I'm all for it. Best to stay on top of the new version

I know that the Poll is not really representative because I know of quite a few people who run the WebPanel on a Shared Hosting (Quite a few of them have SSH Access and dont know of it ).

But since it is possible to install and run Laravel 5 on a shard hosting, there is no reason to dump laravel.

The WebPanel will be rewritten in Laravel for many reasons.

Mostly because of the following:
* It encourages rapid development.
* It offers an updater out of the box.
* Its based on current technology.
* There are prebuilt packages for nearly everything.

TLDR: The next version of the WebPanel will utilize the Laravel 5 Framework

A few questions that might be asked:

Q: When will it be released ?
A: Just follow the repo https://github.com/SourceMod-Store/WebPanelV2-Core

Q: When can I use it ?
A: It will be ready for production once the version 1.0.0 is out.

Q: Can I build something with the API
A: During the early development the WebPanel (and the API) can can introduce breaking changes from one commit to another, so you should not build something on the WebPanel (or with the API), until Version 1.0.0 is out.

Q: Can I run it on a shared hosting
A: Yes, but there will be limitations.

Q: Is there a free hosting provider with SSH Access ?
A: I have got no idea

Q: What license will be used for the new WebPanel ?
A: AGPL (and maybe a additional one)

Q: What if I dont have access to a WebSpace with CLI
A: Run it locally or install it on a shared hosting

Q: Are there any other options to run the new WebPanel
A: I am currently checking different distribution methods (VM, Docker Container, Built in Webserver + PHP)

I think the current template is nice and serves it purpose but I will probably add template support

The following templates will most likely be in the release:
* The current WebPanel Template
* Admin LTE Template

I started with the development today and already finished:
* Automatic creation of the store plugin and webpanel tables
* Support for different webpanel and store databases (This includes the creation of the tables)
* Eloquent Models (DB Access)

In the next days, I am going to create views out of the templates and add a few controllers that allow to perform basic operations

The new version of the webpanel might require a update of the store plugin.

I will post updates to this thread
